BLACK FOREST TYPE WALL BOX
A black walnut carved wall pocket. It is in excellent condition c. 1880. The back is stamped by the maker Clark Bros. Co. Cincinnati, O. A tiny bit of roughness to the top back. Not visible from front.
WAX FLOWER MEMENTO MORI
Probably a funerary piece, this very decorative glass vessel is full of wax flowers. The brass top is hollow and would hold either a candle or some fresh flowers I suppose. The base is decoratively cast iron. The height is 11 3/4". Some flowers loose.
A figural pot metal or inkwell in the form of a devil. It retains its original glass insert. There are traces of old silver paint on the low areas. The rest has a nice worn patina. This dates c. 1920.
COTTON BALE MATCH SAFE
A pewter match safe depicting a cotton bale, watermelon and two black children. Circa 1900. The base reads Patent applied for. The height is approx. 2 1/2".
JAPANESE CLOISONE MINIATURE TEAPOT
A tiny cloisone footed teapot of Japanese origin. It is decorated with very detaileda bird of paradise. Much of the green cloisone has a foil background which makes it glitter. It is lacking a cover. The height is 3 1/8".
MINIATURE CLOISONE TEAPOT
A beautiful c. 1900 Japanese cloisone one cup teapot. It is in very good original condition. The height to the top of the brass finial is just under 3".
A small c. 1900 Japanese brass and cloisine vase. It is adorned with butterflies and flowers. There is a small amount of damage on the lower portion of one side. It is not obviously noticible. The height is 5".
